The Uttar Pradesh government on Thursday ordered a judicial probe into the Greater Noida police firing on farmers, which claimed four lives, and increased the compensation of those killed in the incident."The decision of judicial probe has been taken on the directives of Chief Minister Mayawati," said Principal Secretary (Information) Vijay Shankar Pandey.The probe will be conducted by a retired high court judge.
